How to Reach Ananda
Located just 260 kilometers north of New Delhi, Ananda is easily accessible
by road, rail and air. A 45 minute flight to Jolly Grant airport, a 4 hour train
journey from Delhi to Haridwar station and a scenic 5 hour drive from New Delhi
to Ananda are the various travel options.

By Train
The Indian Railways offers an efficient and comfortable train service to and
from Ananda. The Dehradun Shatabdi Express, with convenient daily services to
and from New Delhi Railway station to the closest railhead at Haridwar Station,
is the most convenient way to embark on your journey.
In addition, there are a number of other trains, which traverse the way to Ananda,
thereby offering you a wide range of train timings. From Haridwar, the ride
to Ananda takes 60 minutes, as you pass through the holy city of Rishikesh and
drive along the intriguing ridges and valleys of the Himalayas.

The 5 hrs drive from Delhi to Ananda is approximately 260 km along a National
Highway.The route takes you through the historical cities of Meerut, Muzzafarnagar,
Roorkee and the holy cities of Haridwar and Risikesh. An extremely picturesque

ascent to Ananda, a winding mountainous route that offers unparalleled views
of the valley of Rishikesh.
